In this world there is just one person who knows everything about me and that is "ME". Yes family and friends are there for each and every one of us but each one is burdened with their own lives, that they can feel sorry for you and sympathise with you, yet cannot know everything about you; Not your parents, Not your siblings Nor your wife Nor the children.
Man's only Life Long Companion is his "Body"
What better than pen all relevant experiences in life in a blog so atvleast some one who is even vaguely interested can get to read about you.
I received a very valuable Whatsapp Message forwarded to me by a friend. It was truly an eye opener.
This Blog is all about my life Partner "My Body" and how my body escaped death so many times in 70 years.
The main reason for publishing my very first Book "Reflections by IITians" was Dr.Vimala Nayanar who kept insisting after I had survived a massive Brain stem stroke that I should publish a Book. Her main aim was to get me to keep my mind occupied by focussing on my Book to avoid me going into a depression. Sadly we lost Mum as we all called her earlier in 2019.

Yes I did publish the book finally eight years Post Stroke in December 2008 at PanIIT Meet in Madras but it was a collection of articles from 35 other IIT Alumni and I wrote my bit may be but the book was not all about myself.
The last two years my Good friend, mentor and a Big Brother I never had Dr. Atish Sengupta and wife Siobhan Sengupta who know about all my medical journey have been insisting that I write it all down and Publish it. What he meant was to actually get the book Printed; but then how many people buy Printed Books these days. I believe more people will get to read it if I blogged it and made it available on line for all to see, read and benefit in any which way possible.
So I Dedicate this Book to my one and only dada in this World, Dr.Sengupta, a retired Orthopaedic Surgeon and his Lovely wife Siobhan Sengupta who have been there for me and Mithu since we met in Sydney in1978. OMG that is 41 long years and sounds even longer when I think of it as Four Decades.
Dr. Atish Sengupta & Mrs Siobhan Sengupta
Thank You Dada and Siobhan for being there for me and Mithu always with your unconditional Love and Priceless Advice and Siobhan not to forget all the scolding you have given me, always shielding and protecting Mithu.
I can never forget how a Practicing Surgeon in Sydney botched up a simple Sebaceous Cyst removal on my back and how I had to visit you every morning for a few months to help get rid of the monkey on my back. Luckily I cannot see the scar but every time Mithu sees the scar she freaks out and says imagine what would have happened but for Dada. I could have ended up with a Staphylococcus Infection and kicked the bucket and may never have had the time to write this Blog.
For those of you who do not know Dada he can sing better than Hemantda and Siobhan and I found each other at Bengali Functions and Partys as we were the two Non Banglas and thick as thieves,
