I - FINALE

Life No.9 - FINALE

"Nine" is the maximum number of lives for even a "Cat".

Now don't hold your Breath, as I won't be around to tell you about this, as I won't be dodging death again and no one in my family knows anything about Blogging to complete this section after my Death.

ADIOS AMIGOS

But before I go let me share my Life Experiences

My life lessons

A few things I learnt after the fateful event on 13th April 2000, a "Brain Stem Stroke", I call the Millennium Gift.

1. My life will never be the same again. A damaged brain is a damaged brain even though I look 100% and even sexy. One day I am a ball of energy bouncing around and the next day I feel like a deflated tyre. This is something that family & friends cannot understand. Neither can I, nor my doctors.

2. Friends who hang around when the going gets rough are true friends and many are God sends or Angels whom you get to know after you fall into a heap.

3. Life is all about making choices and following ones dreams. I have had to make a lot of tough choices and face the music the last nineteen years, yet have no regrets in life.

4. Nothing in life is permanent except Death. So cherish all that destiny has on offer on a daily basis.

5. Pain ... Yesterdays pain is just a bad memory so be content tackling today's misery. Pop a pain killer if it is unbearable.

6. The human body is the most fascinating piece of engineering design that man blatantly copies, again and again.

7. Mind over body is something I have truly practiced and succeeded. You have to be pig headed in life to succeed in this.

8. When you are down never ask “Why Me?”. Instead bargain for strength to face what ever has been doled out. Look around you and see people who are less fortunate than you and console yourself for being better off.

9. God… Love is God, Truth is God... Your inner voice is in fact your God guiding you every minute of your life

10. Truth... There can be only one truth and truth will always prevail. As for lies they can be spun around like cobwebs.

11. If one is truly passionate about achieving something, nothing can stop that person, except himself.

12. People will clap hands when you achieve something but the clapping does not last long, people move on and life continues. The very same clapping hands will throw brick bats when you are down. Think Michael Jackson, Tiger Woods, Lalit Modi and now Rajat Gupta

13. We come into this world empty handed and leave empty handed and all we leave behind are memories to be cherished by family and friends. Keep the memories sweet

14. Live life to the fullest, yet maximise the benefits by doing everything in moderation

15. When the end comes I’d love to get into the Box for the final journey, with chocolate in one hand and champagne in the other and say “Oh, What a ride”

16. If I ever write another book, What you read here will be the epilogue...that is if I write one...

Cheers

Dad / Daddu / Chander / Babu / Ramchander / Ram / Ramboaus / Rambo / Dope / Mottai / Chief / Master Chef / Mama...whatever.

What I want and don't want at my funeral:

First thing is remember to let all my Whats app Contacts know I have kicked the bucket and tell those who sing with me on Smule Roopa, Meera, Shekher, Ravi and Suresh to inform all my other Smule Buddies

1- I could have died alone in bed on 13th April 2000. When I did not, I pleaded with my God for ten more years as Mithu and Anand needed me badly. Not only did I get ten years I also got a further extension of another ten years...I have lived every day the last 20 years being grateful for this extension and celebrated each breath even though breathing was getting more and more difficulty as time went on and the body was ageing.

2- Tell family not to waste their retirement funds on airfares to attend the funeral. I have seen all those who cared for me in the last 20 years and been in daily contact through Whatsapp after quitting FB in 2017. Ask family and friends not to mourn but celebrate any which way they can from where they are. Toast me a Black Label Scotch or a Glass of Red or a Cold Gold Beer and I will enjoy the last drop before I go for ever.

3- The last thing I want is a HINDU Funeral with a Brahmin Priest bathing me in public etc. I have published an article on this topic. The way Hindus deal with Death

Nor do I want to be a stiff in a box in a three piece suit. I'd like to be in my comfy Black Polo neck skivi and black pants with suspenders so pants do not fall off plus in my fav laced Brown Shoes with my Round glasses looking like Steve Jobs minus his bank balance.

4- Find Aarons Father to be the MC as he is most professional in conducting memorial services. He did a great job at Aunty Daphneys send off.

5- any one and eveyone who wants to come is welcome except Mainak Gupta if he is still around when I am gone.

6- Play the following music in the given order.

a- SHADDAP YOUR FACE

Whats the matter you ? why you looking so sad? Its a nice a place so shut up your face .. ( Play Video on Screen)

b- Hindi Song . ..Zindagi ka Safar ( Play Video on Screen) (Provide Printed English Translation)

c- Tamil Song - Aaru Manamae aaru
(Play Video on Screen) (Provide Printed English Translation)

Have every one up standing:

d- all family members present to come forward and Sing "Sudha Brahma" one last time for me.
You will be singing this for me. so face me and not the crowd.

My Father said forget showing the other cheek when some one slapped you. Slap him back.

"Be a Good Man to a Good Man and a Bad man to be a bad man"

Here is my Final Good Bye to this World:
